Young entre\u00adpre\u00adneurs meet investors: Under the motto \u201cEnter the next level\u201d, this year\u2019s Investor Days Thuringia kicked off today with 55 appli\u00adcants and another 600 par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpants from Ger\u00admany and abroad. In the new mul\u00adti\u00adfunc\u00adtional arena in Erfurt, the inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive young and growth com\u00adpa\u00adnies present them\u00adselves to poten\u00adtial investors in order to inspire them with their busi\u00adness model.
\nAt today\u2019s Thuringian Ele\u00adva\u00adtor Pitch, 21 selected start-ups pre\u00adsented their inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive busi\u00adness con\u00adcepts to a broad audi\u00adence and took the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to net\u00adwork with busi\u00adness part\u00adners and investors. Like in a lift pitch where there is lit\u00adtle time, the start-ups had the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to con\u00advince investors of the unique\u00adness of their inno\u00adva\u00adtion with their 3\u2011minute pitch. Another 22 start-ups were able to present their busi\u00adness con\u00adcepts in the Inno\u00adva\u00adtion Arena. The selected pitch\u00aders included not only projects from Thuringia and all over Ger\u00admany, but for the first time also from Israel, Brazil and Rus\u00adsia. This takes the Investor Days Thuringia to a new level and offers cross-bor\u00adder oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties for new busi\u00adness and cooperation.
\n\u201cThe Ele\u00adva\u00adtor Pitch is a direct and very effec\u00adtive way for young com\u00adpa\u00adnies to attract ven\u00adture cap\u00adi\u00adtal,\u201d said Thuringia\u2019s Min\u00adis\u00adter of Eco\u00adnomic Affairs Wolf\u00adgang Tiefensee. \u201cThuringia is an excel\u00adlent loca\u00adtion for inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive start-ups, not least because pri\u00advate and pub\u00adlic equity cap\u00adi\u00adtal rein\u00adforce each other here.\u201d To wel\u00adcome the audi\u00adence, Eco\u00adnom\u00adics Min\u00adis\u00adter Tiefensee spoke on the topic of \u201cOppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties for inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive start-ups in Thuringia\u201d. As part of the cof\u00adfee talk, the Foun\u00adda\u00adtion for Tech\u00adnol\u00adogy, Inno\u00adva\u00adtion and Research Thuringia pre\u00adsented the founders of Crow\u00addAr\u00adchi\u00adtects GmbH with an exclu\u00adsive invi\u00adta\u00adtion to Sil\u00adi\u00adcon Valley.<\/p>\n
Fol\u00adlow\u00ading the pitch pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtions, there was inspir\u00ading input from keynote speaker Benedikt B\u00f6hm, the risk-taker and suc\u00adcess\u00adful entre\u00adpre\u00adneur. Again this year, investors and guests took advan\u00adtage of the audi\u00adence vote and invested their notional invest\u00adment amount of \u20ac500,000 in what they con\u00adsid\u00adered the most con\u00advinc\u00ading start-ups. Prior to the event, a pol\u00adicy talk con\u00adducted by the Fraun\u00adhofer IMW took place in which experts from the ven\u00adture cap\u00adi\u00adtal indus\u00adtries dis\u00adcussed new ways of con\u00adnect\u00ading inno\u00adva\u00adtors with cap\u00adi\u00adtal providers at an early stage.

The com\u00adpany has trans\u00adferred the con\u00adcepts of online com\u00adpar\u00adi\u00adson plat\u00adforms and ride-shar\u00ading ser\u00advices to logis\u00adtics and com\u00adbined them into an easy-to-use online plat\u00adform. Pamyra is the first inde\u00adpen\u00addent price and ser\u00advice com\u00adpar\u00adi\u00adson of trans\u00adport com\u00adpa\u00adnies \u2014 \u201cthe booking.com of logistics\u201d.<\/p>\n The two prizes went to Hey\u00adfair<\/strong> from Weimar. The project has devel\u00adoped the first short-term vis\u00adi\u00adble hand dis\u00adin\u00adfec\u00adtant with the aim of estab\u00adlish\u00ading it as a new stan\u00addard for pro\u00adfes\u00adsional hygiene require\u00adments. The colour\u00ading makes it eas\u00adier for the user to ensure com\u00adplete wet\u00adting and dis\u00adin\u00adfec\u00adtion is car\u00adried out more regularly.<\/p>\n The prize went to Forex\u00adfix<\/strong> from Berlin. The project hedges com\u00adpa\u00adnies against exchange rate fluc\u00adtu\u00ada\u00adtions and thus takes the risks out of trans\u00adac\u00adtions in for\u00adeign cur\u00adren\u00adcies. This solu\u00adtion is the first offer\u00ading that makes it pos\u00adsi\u00adble to hedge cur\u00adrency risks com\u00adpletely online \u2014 and to do so eas\u00adily and quickly.<\/p>\n The prize was awarded to Lean Plas\u00adtic Tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies<\/strong> (LPT) from Ilme\u00adnau. The project deals with plas\u00adtic pow\u00adders for indus\u00adtrial 3D print\u00ading. The new LPT process makes it pos\u00adsi\u00adble to pro\u00adduce con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00adably more cost-effec\u00adtively and to tap the indus\u00adtrial poten\u00adtial of 3D print\u00ading via new plas\u00adtic powders.<\/p>\n Under the motto \u201cScal\u00ading-up\u201d, the sec\u00adond day, 14 June, will focus on inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive and tech\u00adnol\u00adogy-ori\u00adented growth com\u00adpa\u00adnies. Among the investors present are not only early-stage investors, but also other financiers from the pri\u00advate equity, fam\u00adily office and cor\u00adpo\u00adrate ven\u00adture sec\u00adtors.
