Entire IT land\u00adscapes can be analysed and mon\u00adi\u00adtored in terms of secu\u00adrity, avail\u00adabil\u00adity and sta\u00adbil\u00adity. From the cus\u00adtomer por\u00adtal to the net\u00adworked pro\u00adduc\u00adtion plant, from the out\u00adside (inter\u00adnet) as well as from the inside (inter\u00adnal com\u00adpany network).
\nEngin\u00adsight is pur\u00adsu\u00ading a new approach, using algo\u00adrithms and arti\u00adfi\u00adcial intel\u00adli\u00adgence to carry out this mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading autonomously \u2014 i.e. largely fully auto\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcally. This makes it pos\u00adsi\u00adble not only to be informed if some\u00adthing is down or defec\u00adtive, but also to gain insights into the infra\u00adstruc\u00adture itself and dis\u00adcover depen\u00adden\u00adcies or crit\u00adi\u00adcal secu\u00adrity gaps that were pre\u00advi\u00adously unknown.
\nRecently, the two-mem\u00adber found\u00ading team was able to close the seed financ\u00ading round and in this con\u00adtext was able to win bm|t (bm\u2011t beteili\u00adgungs\u00adman\u00adage\u00adment th\u00fcrin\u00adgen gmbh) as lead investor and Paysmark Ver\u00adwal\u00adtungs- und Beteili\u00adgungs\u00adge\u00adsellschaft mbH and Bran\u00adden\u00adburg Ven\u00adtures GmbH as co-investors.<\/p>\n

Why holistic monitoring?<\/h4>\n

Cur\u00adrently, there are many providers on the mar\u00adket who spe\u00adcialise in IT mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading and thus cre\u00adate data silos. If data is stored in iso\u00adla\u00adtion from cer\u00adtain resources, it is very dif\u00adfi\u00adcult to find the \u201cred path\u201d between these resources. If, for exam\u00adple, a data\u00adbase server is defec\u00adtive and the com\u00adpany web\u00adsite fails as a result, it is not imme\u00addi\u00adately appar\u00adent at first glance that the data\u00adbase is the cause. Engin\u00adsight brings together all the data col\u00adlected and can thus directly pro\u00advide clues to the root cause.
\nIn addi\u00adtion, proac\u00adtive secu\u00adrity analy\u00adses and real-time mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading of all IT sys\u00adtems with regard to secu\u00adrity-rel\u00ade\u00advant issues usu\u00adally receive lit\u00adtle or no atten\u00adtion. IT mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading also involves a lot of man\u00adual effort in IT depart\u00adments, as admin\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtors have to define the rules them\u00adselves. Through the holis\u00adtic approach of the Engin\u00adsight plat\u00adform, all data on avail\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adties, secu\u00adrity, infor\u00adma\u00adtion about servers and appli\u00adca\u00adtions are brought together and pro\u00advide cus\u00adtomers with a unique insight into the IT land\u00adscape. Bot\u00adtle\u00adnecks, crit\u00adi\u00adcal resources and pos\u00adsi\u00adble attack sce\u00adnar\u00adios can be detected in real time. With the help of the autonomous para\u00adme\u00adter\u00adi\u00adsa\u00adtion, the IT depart\u00adments are also con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00adably relieved while the qual\u00adity of the mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading is increased at the same time.<\/p>\n

How was Enginsight able to convince the investors?<\/h4>\n

The two young founders know the prob\u00adlems of the mar\u00adket and the solu\u00adtions of the com\u00adpeti\u00adtors through their pre\u00advi\u00adous work. The tech\u00adni\u00adcal and com\u00admer\u00adcial com\u00adpe\u00adtences com\u00adple\u00adment each other per\u00adfectly in the team and are based on many years of coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion. In addi\u00adtion, the first mar\u00adketable mod\u00adules of the sys\u00adtem are already avail\u00adable. By using the most mod\u00adern pro\u00adgram\u00adming sys\u00adtems, the soft\u00adware is flex\u00adi\u00adble, both as a cloud solu\u00adtion and as an on-premise solu\u00adtion installed at cus\u00adtomers\u2019 premises.<\/p>\n
