MOIO GmbH was able to raise another important financing component in the nearly seven-figure range. In addition to private investors, bm\u2011t beteiligungsmanagement th\u00fcringen gmbh (bm|t) as lead investor and R.O.I. GmbH were among the companies acquired for the financing round.<\/h4>\n

After the start-up, which was founded in 2017, has already suc\u00adcess\u00adfully com\u00adpleted sev\u00aderal rounds of cap\u00adi\u00adtal, MOIO GmbH was able to win bm\u2011t beteili\u00adgungs\u00adman\u00adage\u00adment th\u00fcrin\u00adgen gmbh (bm|t), as well as R.O.I. GmbH as investors at this year\u2019s Thuringian Investor Days. \u201cThe con\u00adcept of the moio.care sys\u00adtem con\u00advinced us right from the start. We are look\u00ading for\u00adward to work\u00ading with the team, also at the new addi\u00adtional loca\u00adtion in Erfurt, on the final devel\u00adop\u00adment work and the mar\u00adket launch in 2020\u201d says Karin Rabe, Invest\u00adment Man\u00adager at bm\u2011t. MOIO Man\u00adag\u00ading Direc\u00adtor J\u00fcr\u00adgen Besser and his team are pleased about the renewed con\u00adfir\u00adma\u00adtion of their poten\u00adtial by two such strong part\u00adners and look for\u00adward pos\u00adi\u00adtively to the final steps before mar\u00adket launch.
The idea for the moio.care sys\u00adtem orig\u00adi\u00adnated from the research project \u201cBar\u00adrier-free Health Assis\u00adtance\u201d of the top clus\u00adter Med\u00adical Val\u00adley EMN. The project was ini\u00adti\u00adated in 2010 by the Evan\u00adgel\u00adi\u00adcal Lutheran Diakoniew\u00aderk Neuen\u00addet\u00adtel\u00adsau (now Diako\u00adneo) together with 14 other com\u00adpa\u00adnies from research and indus\u00adtry.
The objec\u00adtive in the case of moio.care: to pro\u00advide sup\u00adport for the most impor\u00adtant nurs\u00ading chal\u00adlenges with the help of exist\u00ading tech\u00adni\u00adcal pos\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties. This includes the pre\u00adven\u00adtion of falls and bed\u00adsores, as well as the improve\u00adment of mobil\u00adity despite dis\u00adori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adtion of those affected. For all func\u00adtions, it should also be ensured that the sys\u00adtem is also worn on the body and is ide\u00adally hardly notice\u00adable.
In order to imple\u00adment the result\u00ading prod\u00aduct idea, the for\u00admer Diakonie employee, J\u00fcr\u00adgen Besser, and eesy Inno\u00adva\u00adtion GmbH, headed by G\u00fcn\u00adter Max\u00adi\u00adm\u00adil\u00adian Hefner, joined forces and founded MOIO GmbH in Novem\u00adber 2017.
The solu\u00adtion, which is about to be finalised, is a flat, soft and flex\u00adi\u00adble sen\u00adsor mod\u00adule. It is worn on the back, under the cloth\u00ading, directly on the skin. There it is hardly notice\u00adable, not vis\u00adi\u00adble and thus not stig\u00adma\u00adtis\u00ading. Inside it are sophis\u00adti\u00adcated sen\u00adsor, eval\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion and mobile radio tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies that enable com\u00adpletely flex\u00adi\u00adble and mobile use. The moio.care sys\u00adtem per\u00adma\u00adnently processes sen\u00adsor infor\u00adma\u00adtion and inter\u00adprets it inde\u00adpen\u00addently. Only when the sen\u00adsor mod\u00adule detects a con\u00adcrete need does it estab\u00adlish a data con\u00adnec\u00adtion and trans\u00admit the nec\u00ades\u00adsary infor\u00adma\u00adtion to the moio.cloud. From there, all respon\u00adsi\u00adble care\u00adgivers are noti\u00adfied via the moio.app on their mobile device and can pro\u00advide assis\u00adtance as needed.
The func\u00adtions of the moio.care sys\u00adtem pri\u00admar\u00adily address nurs\u00ading chal\u00adlenges in elderly care, nurs\u00ading care or the care of peo\u00adple with dis\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adties. On the one hand, it auto\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcally noti\u00adfies in sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtions where quick help is needed. On the other hand, it gen\u00ader\u00adates objec\u00adtively mea\u00adsured data that can be auto\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcally trans\u00adferred to dig\u00adi\u00adtal doc\u00adu\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion.
The sys\u00adtem will be eval\u00adu\u00adated in sev\u00aderal elderly care facil\u00adi\u00adties in the com\u00ading months. The mar\u00adket launch of moio.care is planned for 2020.
Inter\u00adested par\u00adties still have the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpate in the financ\u00ading round until September.<\/p>\n
