Now the found\u00ading team has gath\u00adered the&nbsp;nec\u00ades\u00adsary investors behind them and is work\u00ading on build\u00ading up the start-up in the heart of&nbsp;Germany.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dig\u00adi\u00adtal infor\u00adma\u00adtion and com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion are inte\u00adgral parts of every\u00adday life and ele\u00admen\u00adtary for soci\u00adety and the econ\u00adomy. Com\u00adput\u00aders, opti\u00adcal fiber net\u00adworks and satel\u00adlite links now con\u00adnect entire con\u00adti\u00adnents and form the basis of the global com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtions infra\u00adstruc\u00adture. Today, the secu\u00adrity and sov\u00ader\u00adeignty of data is secured by com\u00adplex math\u00ade\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcal algo\u00adrithms and cryp\u00adtog\u00adra\u00adphy solu\u00adtions. With the highly dynamic devel\u00adop\u00adment of quan\u00adtum com\u00adput\u00ading, com\u00adpletely new types of com\u00adput\u00ading power are becom\u00ading pos\u00adsi\u00adble, pos\u00ading a threat to clas\u00adsi\u00adcal encryp\u00adtion methods.<\/p>\n<p>Quan\u00adtum physics also pro\u00advides the answer to this chal\u00adlenge: Based on phys\u00adi\u00adcal laws, quan\u00adtum optics enables com\u00adpletely new con\u00adcepts for gen\u00ader\u00adat\u00ading encryp\u00adtion meth\u00adods and the phys\u00adi\u00adcally secure trans\u00admis\u00adsion of infor\u00adma\u00adtion. Here, the secure key for the encryp\u00adtion and exchange of infor\u00adma\u00adtion is per\u00adformed by quan\u00adtum phys\u00adi\u00adcal meth\u00adods. The work of the research insti\u00adtute, founded in 1992, there\u00adfore focuses on appli\u00adca\u00adtion-ori\u00adented research into light gen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion, light guid\u00adance and light mea\u00adsure\u00adment.
