Flu\u00adIDect GmbH has suc\u00adcess\u00adfully com\u00adpleted its seed financ\u00ading round in the mil\u00adlions. bm\u2011t beteili\u00adgungs\u00adman\u00adage\u00adment th\u00fcrin\u00adgen gmbh (bm|t), b.value AG from Dort\u00admund and Sparkasse Jena-Saale-Hol\u00adz\u00adland are invest\u00ading in the start-up from Jena to develop the Spher\u00adoScan sen\u00adsor for online mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading of bio\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal processes in indus\u00adtry and agriculture.<\/p>\n

The fully auto\u00admatic Spher\u00adoScan\u00ae biosen\u00adsor is used for online mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading of liq\u00aduid prod\u00aducts and process media. It can be inte\u00adgrated into many tech\u00adni\u00adcal sys\u00adtems and iden\u00adti\u00adfies dan\u00adger\u00adous germs con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00adously and at a high cycle rate. This is made pos\u00adsi\u00adble by a novel sen\u00adsor prin\u00adci\u00adple that uses func\u00adtion\u00adal\u00adized micropar\u00adti\u00adcles as freely mov\u00adable probes in an ana\u00adlyt\u00adi\u00adcal sam\u00adple. Flu\u00adIDec\u00adt\u2019s patented pho\u00adtonic detec\u00adtion method, which is based on the WGM effect (Whis\u00adper\u00ading Gallery Modes), allows the par\u00adti\u00adcles to be read out directly. This achieves a high sen\u00adsi\u00adtiv\u00adity with a very short time-to-result.<\/p>\n

For the first time, plant oper\u00ada\u00adtors thus receive directly usable micro\u00adbi\u00ado\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal data for con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00adous mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading and long-term analy\u00adsis of prod\u00aduct qual\u00adity and process sta\u00adbil\u00adity. This enables an unsur\u00adpassed level of safety and effi\u00adciency in the pro\u00adduc\u00adtion of food and active ingre\u00addi\u00adents, the pro\u00advi\u00adsion of clean water or the defense against infec\u00adtious dis\u00adeases.
