Notwith\u00adstand\u00ading many impres\u00adsive fig\u00adures, such as hav\u00ading invested over 500 Mio. EUR in over 200 com\u00adpa\u00adnies, com\u00adplet\u00ading over 500 invest\u00adment rounds and attract\u00ading addi\u00adtional co-invest\u00adment of over 740 Mio. EUR, we feel like a 20-year-old in many ways: hav\u00ading received an excel\u00adlent edu\u00adca\u00adtion and hav\u00ading gained valu\u00adable early expe\u00adri\u00adence,&nbsp;<strong>we are eager to take on the world, to advance our learn\u00ading, and to con\u00adtinue hon\u00ading our trade of ven\u00adture cap\u00adi\u00adtal and pri\u00advate equity invest\u00ading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Even more pro\u00adfound and mean\u00ading\u00adful than the above fig\u00adures, are the core tenets of our oper\u00adat\u00ading phi\u00adlos\u00ado\u00adphy which we have devel\u00adoped over the last 20&nbsp;years.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Respect and trust are para\u00admount and nec\u00ades\u00adsary for suc\u00adcess in this busi\u00adness<\/strong>. The best way to gain respect and trust is to respect and trust our val\u00adued partners.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Integrity and trans\u00adparency in com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion is essen\u00adtial for build\u00ading pro\u00adduc\u00adtive rela\u00adtion\u00adships<\/strong>. Clear com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion, even about dif\u00adfi\u00adcult issues, is far supe\u00adrior to the assump\u00adtion of implicit understanding.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Col\u00adlab\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtion is the ideal way to suc\u00adceed when invest\u00ading in longer-term inno\u00adva\u00adtions<\/strong>. Work\u00ading coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtively together with mul\u00adti\u00adple part\u00adners can achieve suc\u00adcess far beyond that which is pos\u00adsi\u00adble when every\u00adone only pri\u00ador\u00adi\u00adtizes their own&nbsp;goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With the learn\u00adings of the past 20&nbsp;years deeply ingrained in our expe\u00adri\u00adenced team, we are con\u00adfi\u00addent that we, and the entire Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen inno\u00adva\u00adtion ecosys\u00adtem are well-pre\u00adpared for the next 20&nbsp;years.&nbsp;<strong>We clearly sense that the gains of the past 20&nbsp;years are cumu\u00adla\u00adtive,<\/strong>&nbsp;and that our entire ecosys\u00adtem begins the next 20&nbsp;years in a much stronger posi\u00adtion than when bm|t ini\u00adtially started. The founders with whom we work are bet\u00adter informed of their mar\u00adkets and com\u00adpet\u00adi\u00adtive posi\u00adtion\u00ading, our net\u00adwork of co-investors has grown tremen\u00addously and includes many repeat investors in Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen, and all the rel\u00ade\u00advant play\u00aders in Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen are well-grooved and work together coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtively and pro\u00adduc\u00adtively to sup\u00adport our inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive companies.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, this strong start\u00ading point does not offer com\u00adplete pro\u00adtec\u00adtion against dif\u00adfi\u00adcul\u00adties, espe\u00adcially in this period of geopo\u00adlit\u00adi\u00adcal strife and increas\u00ading eco\u00adnomic chal\u00adlenges; how\u00adever, it does offer us a strong sense of proven pur\u00adpose, which we know will be instru\u00admen\u00adtal over time. Ven\u00adture cap\u00adi\u00adtal and pri\u00advate equity invest\u00ading are longer-term endeav\u00adors which require vision, per\u00adspec\u00adtive, patience, and for\u00adti\u00adtude. Over the long term it is these attrib\u00adutes, not the pre\u00advail\u00ading tem\u00adpo\u00adrary con\u00addi\u00adtions, that deter\u00admine the out\u00adcomes.
