We believe that com\u00adpelling invest\u00adments should be able to meet BOTH of the fol\u00adlow\u00ading criteria:<\/p>\n

  2. There is an evi\u00addent rea\u00adson why we, as opposed to other investors, have this oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to invest<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen is an excep\u00adtion\u00adally attrac\u00adtive region for invest\u00adments when look\u00ading through this crit\u00adi\u00adcal lens.<\/p>\n

    To the first cri\u00adte\u00adria, Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen has world-lead\u00ading tech\u00adnol\u00adogy in many fields<\/b> and is increas\u00adingly adept at con\u00advert\u00ading its ground-break\u00ading research into effec\u00adtive and valu\u00adable com\u00adpa\u00adnies. The region\u2019s world-renowned tra\u00addi\u00adtion and exper\u00adtise in optics (Carl Zeiss \/ Ernst Abbe) has con\u00adtin\u00adued and expanded to many adja\u00adcent, related fields (pho\u00adton\u00adics, robot\u00adics, life sci\u00adences, mate\u00adri\u00adals sci\u00adences, etc.) in which Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen now plays in the top leagues globally.<\/p>\n

    Regard\u00ading the sec\u00adond cri\u00adte\u00adria, Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen, despite increased vis\u00adi\u00adbil\u00adity in recent years, remains off the beaten path for most investors.<\/b> No pri\u00advate insti\u00adtu\u00adtional investor who invests tick\u00adets over 1 Mio. Impor\u00adtantly, we fore\u00adsee that there is fur\u00adther increase in investor aware\u00adness ahead, and we work dili\u00adgently to accel\u00ader\u00adate this recog\u00adni\u00adtion of Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen as an attrac\u00adtive loca\u00adtion for investment.<\/p>\n

    There are numer\u00adous rea\u00adsons why Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen his\u00adtor\u00adi\u00adcally has not been more in investors\u00b4 focus. It has some gen\u00ade\u00adsis in Th\u00fcringen\u2019s gen\u00aderal mod\u00adest nature, as entre\u00adpre\u00adneurs here focus more on devel\u00adop\u00ading inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies and com\u00adpa\u00adnies rather than beat\u00ading a drum about their accom\u00adplish\u00adments. Tra\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adally, most entre\u00adpre\u00adneurs in Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen have also looked to local part\u00adners for their ini\u00adtial fund raises. We at bm|t have great respect for the respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adity that comes with this trust<\/b> placed in us and strive to be an excel\u00adlent part\u00adner for entre\u00adpre\u00adneurs<\/b>, pri\u00admar\u00adily by acti\u00advat\u00ading our extremely strong local net\u00adworks and increas\u00adingly act\u00ading as a spring\u00adboard to larger global investors.<\/p>\n

    While Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen has flown under most investors\u2019 radars, bm|t has played a cen\u00adtral role in fund\u00ading the inno\u00adva\u00adtion econ\u00adomy here as the most active ven\u00adture investor in the region.  This unique mar\u00adket posi\u00adtion has enabled us to build a port\u00adfo\u00adlio of Investee-Part\u00adners over the last twenty years that is truly excep\u00adtional in its qual\u00adity and variety.<\/p>\n

    In addi\u00adtion to being a lead\u00ading investor in Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen, bm|t is tasked with increas\u00ading the amounts of pri\u00advate ven\u00adture cap\u00adi\u00adtal being invested here.
