The fund is also avail\u00adable for suc\u00adces\u00adsion plan\u00adning, for exam\u00adple as part of a man\u00adage\u00adment buy-out (MBO), man\u00adage\u00adment buy-in (MBI) or for spin-off\u00ads\/\u00adcarve-outs. The fund is aimed at prof\u00aditable, fast-grow\u00ading and inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive com\u00adpa\u00adnies that are at least five years old and have a min\u00adi\u00admum turnover of two mil\u00adlion&nbsp;euros.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWith the new Mit\u00adtel\u00adstands-Fonds, we want to sup\u00adport the Thuringian econ\u00adomy in financ\u00ading urgently needed growth and mod\u00adern\u00adiza\u00adtion invest\u00adments,\u201d<\/em> says <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/colette-boos-john-89068b12b\/\">Colette Boos-John<\/a>, Thuringian Min\u00adis\u00adter for Eco\u00adnomic Affairs, Agri\u00adcul\u00adture and Rural Areas. A strength\u00adened Equity makes it eas\u00adier to access loans and there\u00adfore to finance invest\u00adments. <em>\u201cThat\u2019s why we as a state gov\u00adern\u00adment have launched the MFT II. I am delighted that we can now start imple\u00adment\u00ading it.\u201d<\/em> <\/p>\n<p>The Mit\u00adtel\u00adstands-Fonds Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen II will be man\u00adaged by bm\u2011t beteili\u00adgungs\u00adman\u00adage\u00adment th\u00fcrin\u00adgen gmbh (bm|t). <em>\u201cThe fund for late-stage financ\u00ading will ini\u00adtially have a vol\u00adume of 20 mil\u00adlion euros and com\u00adple\u00adments our exist\u00ading range of funds,\u201d<\/em> sum\u00adma\u00adrizes Katja Butz\u00admann, act\u00ading man\u00adag\u00ading direc\u00adtor of bm|t. The funds man\u00adaged by bm|t invest cap\u00adi\u00adtal from insti\u00adtu\u00adtional investors and the pub\u00adlic sec\u00adtor in start-up teams and com\u00adpa\u00adnies in the Free State of Thuringia. bm|t was founded in 2003 as a uni\u00adver\u00adsal invest\u00adment com\u00adpany for Thuringia and, as a sub\u00adsidiary of Th\u00fcringer Auf\u00adbaubank, has since placed 13 invest\u00adment funds with a vol\u00adume of around 0.5 bil\u00adlion euros and raised an addi\u00adtional 1.3 bil\u00adlion euros for invest\u00adments in the Free State, thereby invest\u00ading in 209 promis\u00ading companies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With the Mit\u00adtel\u00adstands-Fonds Th\u00fcrin\u00adgen II, the state is expand\u00ading its invest\u00adment port\u00adfo\u00adlio for the Thuringian econ\u00adomy. bm|t cur\u00adrently man\u00adages a total of 12 invest\u00adment funds on behalf of the Free State of Thuringia. Of these, four funds with a total of around 55 mil\u00adlion euros in avail\u00adable liq\u00aduid\u00adity (as of Decem\u00adber 31, 2024) are still active: Th\u00fcringer Startup Fonds II (TSF II), Wach\u00ads\u00adtums\u00adbeteili\u00adgungs\u00adfonds II (WBF II), Th\u00fcringer Zukun\u00adfts\u00adfonds III (TZF III) and Th\u00fcringer Indus\u00adtriebeteili\u00adgungs-GmbH &amp; Co.
