The Wein­ert Group is one of the lead­ing man­u­fac­tur­ers of spe­cial opti­cal fibers in the metrol­ogy, (high-power) laser trans­mis­sion, indus­trial data trans­mis­sion and energy mar­kets. The prod­uct port­fo­lio includes the man­u­fac­ture of syn­thetic quartz glass, pre­forms, spe­cial fibers, spe­cial opti­cal and elec­tri­cal cables, cus­tomer-spe­cific assem­blies as well as opti­cal switches and sys­tems. The Group serves its cus­tomers from its sites in Jena, Son­neberg, Berlin and Roth in Ger­many as well as Williams­burg in the USA, Chang­shu in China and Brits in South Africa.
